Vacuum Cleaner
Ratings
If you’re like me, one of the items that I hate shopping for
is a new vacuum cleaner, but luckily with the Internet, there
are thousands of places to get vacuum cleaner ratings before
you enter the store. One of the biggest reasons why I hate
vacuum cleaner shopping is that I have never had any luck
buying one. Sure, I shopped around at the chain stores,
compared prices, power, capabilities, and ease of use, but
somehow, my vacuum never lived up to my expectations.
There was always something, like attachments that easily
broke, floor level adjustments that I could never quite set
correctly, and then the inevitable wire-sucking vacuum that
sucked up its own power cord. Ok, you’re asking, this woman is
really going to offer vacuum cleaner ratings? Ratings yes, hand
eye coordination – no!
According to David Oreck, founder of Oreck Vacuum Cleaners,
“the Oreck was invented with women in mind," Oreck vaccums are
lightweight and quite powerful for effective cleaning
especially when it comes to allergen control. All those are a
big plus to me – particularly because I suffer from yearlong
allergies.
My pick for this vacuum cleaner ratings review is the Pink
Oreck® Vacuum Cleaner with the slogan, “Helps Clean for the
Cure®.” I like the idea that "The Clean for Cure” program gives
an opportunity for consumers to make a contribution to breast
cancer research as well as community outreach programs.
Practically speaking, the Pink Oreck® Vacuum Cleaner is built
with a filtration system that can eliminate up to 99.99 percent
of allergens down to .3 microns, which includes bacteria, mold
spores, dust mites, pet hair, house dust and pollen; bacteria
measures between .4 to 10 microns. Dust mites are my biggest
enemies and if you’ve ever seen a magnified picture of what
dust mites really look like, I think you’d agree. Dust mites
are tiny mites - creepy looking little creatures. Well, besides
their appearance, they are definitely critters that any
allergist will advise you to minimize in and around your living
environment.
The Pink Oreck XL Vacuum also reduces user stress with a
specially designed ergonomic handle, so it reduces stress and
strain on the hands, wrists and elbows. The Oreck handle
received the Arthritis Foundation® Ease-Of-Use Commendation in
the category of vacuum cleaner ratings. The nifty Clean for The
Cure® Pink Oreck Vacuum Cleaner includes a 10-year warranty and
10 annual, free tune-ups. Wow!
I didn’t even consider that a vacuum cleaner requires
tune-ups, but if they’re offering, I think that is truly an
added bonus. It means that klutzes like me can go to people who
really care about their customers. I need a company that stands
behind their vacuum, even when it comes to wire-sucker vacuum
operators like me. Also, unlike bagless vacuum cleaners, the
Pink Oreck XL Vacuum contains a self-sealing vacuum bag that
locks in fine particles, dirt, and dust (mites!). Another bonus
is that it comes with a shoulder strap, which allows for
hands-free mobility around the house. As far as vacuum cleaner
ratings are concerned, I would definitely recommend the Pink
Oreck XL.
Vacuum cleaner ratings should be taking in context. Ratings
can be manipulated, like anything else. One key to ratings that
can be relied on as impartial are those that aren't associated
with the vacuum manufacturer.
